This seat transforms your Ride-On-Pad into a "cuddly-safe" experience, providing ultimate comfort and support.
The seat features thick, contoured thigh blocks on both sides, for added security, while the high, supportive backrest ensures a stable, comfortable seat for the rider. Crafted from 100% sheep wool, the seat has a non-slip Sympanova underside that rests securely on the Ride-On-Pad.
It attaches easily with a long Velcro strap, securely fastened underneath the pad. The seat also features velcro openings at the front and rear, allowing the 'Ride-On-Pads' straps to be secured into after passing through the rings on the pad.
Made from pure sheep wool, the seat provides natural antibacterial and pressure-relieving properties. Unlike sheepskin, wool is shorn from the sheep in a painless process, making it an environmentally friendly and ethical choice.
Note: This seat is designed to fit the latest version of the Ride-On-Pad. Older Ride-On-Pads without front rings may experience some sliding of the seat. It can also be used on other bareback pads with front rings or fasteners, but is not compatible with the Ride-On-Pad with Bags.
Washing Tip: Hand wash in cold water, reshaping the seat after washing and shaking vigorously. The blocks and rear backrest can be removed for easy cleaning.
Size: Adult or Child

really love this saddle pad, my horse is rehabbing from kissing spine and whilst his bespoke saddle is getting made I bought the bareback physio pad (as advised by my bodyworker) to start some light ridden work. This pad keeps his spine completely clear of my weight, spreading my weigh instead either side of his spine like a saddle. I bought the sheepskin stock saddle cover for extra comfort. My only complaints are: 1. the pad does slide back when you go up hills. I've bought a breast plate to try and anchor it a bit more. 2. the sheepskin liner has 2 pieces of velcro on the front to connect to the pad D rings, but the velcro is "one way" so it doesn't loop under the d ring and secure, as it's then sticking grip to grip or fuzz to fuzz if that makes sense. Weird design error there. but overall I would recomend this product, you just need to add a breast plate.
Hi Ellen,
Thanks for the review :) The velcro goes through the rings, and then back into a velcro pocket on the underside of the cover, not just back onto itself. When attached this way, the cover is very secure on the pad. Let us know if you have any problems, and we can send photos :)
