These safety stirrups are lightweight and designed for trail or endurance riding. The tread area is extra wide and padded, featuring a non-slip rubberised surface and resilient foam underneath. This combination provides shock absorption and comfort for the rider, even during long rides. The stirrups are suitable for wide stirrup leathers or fenders, with a bar width of approximately 5.5cm or just over 2 inches, and are not recommended for use with narrow stirrup leathers. The safety cage prevents slipping and reduces the risk of being dragged in the event of a fall. Available in brown or black with a black rubberized tread measuring 14 cm wide.

I did my first ride in these stirrups and immediately noticed the difference in how comfortable they are, grip is great, cages are larger for those with bigger feet or boots, the stirrup is made of plastic which is much nicer if you accidentally knock your horse on the elbow when riding, and its also quite light! Love them.
These are the best stirrups for trail and endurance. First time using these stirrups we covered 23kms of mostly trotting and they are fantastic. I now have two pairs in both colours for each saddle.

I had almost an immediate response and new stock was quickly uploaded to the website so I could purchases 10/10 would buy from barefoot again :)
These stirrups are very comfortable to ride in, they do offer extra suspension/cushioning. Everyone who has ridden in them has liked them. The company was also very helpful when I checked the sizing before I purchased them.
