Contour Trail - Bitless or Bitted Marathon/Endurance Bridle

The Contour poll area of this Barefoot® bridle is specifically designed to alleviate pressure on the sensitive nerve area behind the horse's ears. With a softly padded and curved headpiece, this patented bridle allows ample room for the ears while also offering multiple adjustment options for a perfect fit on ponies to warmbloods. Additionally, the bit can be easily buckled on and off, and the throat latch can be removed for use as a halter. The noseband is also padded and has two extra rings for bitless riding. Our recommendation is to buckle the bridle loosely and provide ample room in the noseband to avoid interference with the horse's breathing. Perfect for trail riding, this bridle can be used with or without a bit and is made of soft nubuck leather. Available in black or brown, in sizes  Cob/Full or Warmblood/Draft, with included leather bit straps.
