Barefoot® Bareback Pad 'Ride-on-Pad' Physio Support

The Barefoot® Bareback Pad 'Ride-On-Pad' Physio Support offers exceptional comfort and support for both rider and horse. The large knee rolls provide added stability for the rider’s legs, while the high, soft cantle gently supports the rider’s back. The seat and saddle flaps are made from durable microfibre, and the underside features Sympanova material to prevent slipping on the horse’s back.

For added comfort and protection, the underside includes additional padding, along with two sets of interchangeable shims (1 pair of cellular rubber shims and 1 set of soft PU foam). These shims ensure spinal clearance and provide extra cushioning for the horse’s back. The shims can be adjusted or cut to correct saddle positions.

Unlike traditional bareback pads, which can create pressure points on the horse's back, the Barefoot® Ride-On-Pad Physio Support features a horse-friendly rigging system. The concealed girth straps are mounted centrally, distributing pressure evenly across the horse’s back, reducing strain on the spinous processes.

With no stirrup attachments to avoid unnecessary pressure on the horse’s muscles, this pad allows the rider to feel securely close to the horse. The non-slip underside ensures the pad stays firmly in place.

Note: The Barefoot® Ride-On-Pad Physio Support is not recommended for smaller ponies due to its long saddle skirts and rigging. We suggest using the Barefoot® Ride-On-Pad in pony size for smaller ponies, like Shetlands.
