The material for the Stretch & Breath® girth is specially made for us. It consists of many adjacent, fine elastic fibres, stitched with tear-resistant nylon thread. This gives us a material which is tear-resistant but also totally stretchy.
The Stretch & Breath® material is then wrapped with a soft, adjustable outer covering that protects the horse's sensitive girth area.

Tip: The elastic material conforms to the horse's body, therefore the girth can stretch (adapt to your horse). We recommend: If you usually use it from left to right, turn it right to left every now and again to keep it balanced.

Washing tip:
Outside soft material: Wash in your washing machine at 30 degrees Inside Elastic: Wash by hand

Great quality and comfortable girth for my sensitive gelding. Well priced and well made.
This girth has a couple of features that I feel make it very comfortable for horses. The cover is great and it seems to have a flexibility yet stay in place. I team it up with the bareback Physio pad, also purchased here and the horses appear happier than ever and it feels good to use tack that has been created with the horses’ comfort as a priority. (Pad is also very comfortable for humans.)
